TLC’s New Series “Shalom in the Home” Seeks Florida / Tri-State NYC Families

Are you struggling with family problems you feel powerless to change? Does it feel like your family is drifting apart despite everthing you do? Is your home chaotic instead of peaceful? Has dinnertime become battle time? If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, or if your feel like you or anyone in your family is struggling with problems, we may have the help you’re seeking.


TLC and Diverse Productions are looking for Florida families to participate in a groundbreaking new series, SHALOM IN THE HOME. Hosted by family counselor, scholar and best-selling author Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, the series works intensively with families to facilitate deep changes that will make their lives happier, richer and more peaceful. Along the way, relationships will improve between parents, kids and spouses.


SHALOM IN THE HOME seeks families in the Orlando/ Tampa/ Miami/Ft.Lauderdale and NYC areas who want to work with Rabbi Shmuley, one of America’s leading family and parenting experts. In particular we’re searching for families who are dealing with serious illness, ADD/ADHD and live-in grandparents. We are also looking for families struggling with members fighting in Iraq.


The tone of the series is respectful and serious, and we do not exploit families, parents, or children exactly what you’d expect from TLC, America’s most trusted network. This is a documentary style series, and the families will be working with a team of professionals and a host who has written over 15 books and counseled hundreds of families with difficult issues. We prefer that at least one of your children be over age 7 (so they can communicate on camera with our host) but are open to talking to all families about appearing on the show.
